Island apartments are owned and operated by husband/wife team Ingunn St. Einarsdóttir and Thorsteinn Audunn Petursson. We have travelled extensively over the years and stayed in many hotels and apartments all over the world, and know what we want when it comes to accommodation. We are passionate about our service, and we do not compromise with the quality of our apartments, and always work toward ensuring you will enjoy your stay with us.

What is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Additional charges will be applied to your credit card if your apartment is occupied past 11:00am.
What is the deposit and payment policy?
A valid credit card is required, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and
Maestro.
Island Apartments reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival. The remaining balance including additional fees is due upon arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged. Island Apartments reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.
Is there storage space available to store luggage before/after check-in and check-out?

A Parking garage is located at Hverfisgata 20, just down the street from us. Street parking is also available.
